1. Overview The
100L/H first-stage reverse osmosis equipment uses reverse osmosis membrane and technology. This equipment consists of three parts: pre-pretreatment and first-stage reverse osmosis treatment. Outlet water conductivity ≤10μS/cm, water output 100L/H. Inlet water requirements: Use municipal
water that meets the national drinking water standards . 1. Pre-pretreatment Appropriate pretreatment is very important for the long-term safe operation of the reverse osmosis device. With pretreatment that meets the reverse osmosis inlet water quality requirements, it can ensure that the product water (permeate water) flow rate rem*ns stable; the desalination rate rem*ns at a cert*n value for a long time; the product water recovery rate can rem*n unchanged; the operating cost is minimized; the membrane service life is long, etc. Specifically, the reverse osmosis pretreatment is to achieve: ⑴Prevent contamination on the membrane surface, that is, prevent suspended impurities, microorganisms, colloids, etc. from adhering to the membrane surface or fouling the water flow channel of the membrane element. ⑵Prevent scaling on the membrane surface. During the operation of the reverse osmosis device, due to the concentration of water, some insoluble salts such as CaCO3, CaSO4, BaSO4, CaF2, etc. are deposited on the membrane surface, so it is necessary to prevent the formation of these insoluble salts. ⑶ Ensure that the membrane is free from mechanical and chemical damage so that the membrane has good performance and a sufficiently long life. The pre-treatment of this equipment consists of an automatic mechanical filter, an automatic activated carbon filter, an automatic sodium ion softener, and a security filter. The sand filter uses a glass fiber reinforced plastic barrel with quartz sand and iron ore inside, which can effectively remove suspended matter, condensed flakes, and adhesive colloidal particles and iron ions that cannot be removed by precipitation. The carbon filter uses a glass fiber reinforced plastic barrel with activated carbon inside, which can effectively remove organic matter and some heavy metal ions cont*ned in the water. The sodium ion softener uses a glass fiber reinforced plastic barrel with sodium type cation exchange resin inside. The raw water passes through the sodium type cation exchange resin, so that the hardness components Ca2+ ions and Mg2+ ions in the water are exchanged with the Na+ ions in the resin, thereby adsorbing the Ca2+ ions and Mg2+ ions in the water to soften the water. The security filter is equipped with a 5-micron PP filter element to filter out fine suspended matter in the water. Through pre-treatment, the water quality reaches a silt density index SDI <3 and a water hardness of ≤0.03mol/L. 2. Secondary reverse osmosis device Principle: Osmosis is the process of water flowing spontaneously from the dilute solution side through the semipermeable membrane to the concentrated solution side. The semipermeable membrane only allows water to pass through, while preventing the passage of dissolved solids (salts), as shown in Figure (a). The concentrated solution is continuously diluted as water flows in. When the pressure p generated by the flow of water to the concentrated solution is equal to the amount of water flowing through the membrane from either side to the other side, it is in a dynamic equilibrium state, and the pressure p at this time is called the osmotic pressure of the solution (Note: one side of the semipermeable membrane is pure water, and the other side is a salt solution). 2.
