2. Scope of application and principle:
Urban tap water is an indispensable substance in the national economy and people's lives. How to ensure the hygiene and safety of tap water is becoming a major issue at present. Especially in large cities with dense populations and highly concentrated industrial production. With the rapid development of industrial and agricultural production and the continuous improvement of people's living standards, a large amount of industrial and agricultural sewage and domestic sewage are generated, some of which are discharged into rivers, lakes and seas without treatment, causing serious pollution of the raw water quality of water plants, bringing difficulties to the purification of tap water. Purified drinking water cont*ns a cert*n amount of organic impurities, and long-term drinking may have adverse effects on human health.
In recent years, small activated carbon adsorption filters have been promoted on the market, which do have a cert*n effect, but after a long time, the activated carbon adsorption is saturated, and the activated carbon is not replaced in time. As a result, the water that comes out causes secondary pollution. If it is cold, the consequences are serious. For this reason, the country has attached importance to the deep treatment of tap water.
The front section of this device is an ozone dissolution multi-stage tower. Ozone is a strong oxidant that replaces disinfection without producing trihalomethanes, and reacts quickly. Ozone can kill bacteria and inactivate viruses. It can also be used as an oxidant to remove iron, manganese, remove odors, decolorize, kill algae, and decompose some difficult-to-degrade organic compounds, such as pesticides and detergents.
The back section is an activated carbon adsorption tower. The use of granular activated carbon valves is a physical and chemical adsorption process. Fresh activated carbon can almost completely remove the matrix of trihalomethanes (trihalomethanes are carcinogens).
In the oxidation method, ozone-biological activated carbon filtration and adsorption is an effective method for treating severely polluted water sources. It is the most technically effective and economically feasible treatment system. It has been regarded as the most advanced new technology for drinking water decontamination abroad.
