1. Scope of application and principle:
Domestic garbage needs to be treated by harmless anaerobic fermentation, otherwise the environment will be polluted, the stench will be overwhelming, flies will breed, and it will bring inconvenience to the lives of citizens.
Its principle is to use a sealed box (domestic garbage and fecal water are placed in the box) to degrade organic matter under anaerobic conditions by specialized anaerobic bacteria. Most of the carbon is converted into methane, nitrogen is converted into ammonia and nitrogen, and sulfur is converted into hydrogen sulfide.
2. Several methods of garbage treatment:
1. Put the domestic garbage (vegetable leaves, fish, meat, rice, etc. are preferred) into the box after repeatedly stirring it with an iron catt*l, a layer of garbage, a layer of fecal water, and fill it up in about four layers.
2. Cover the top cover of the box, put water into the trough, and seal the cover.
3. Thermometers have been installed on the upper, middle and lower parts of the box.
4. Start recording on the second day, and complete the fermentation experiment in about 2 to 3 weeks. Fermentation is fast in hot weather and slow in cold weather.
5. After two or three days, the top cover of the box should be opened to allow the biogas to be discharged. If the fermentation reaches its peak after a week, a small fan can be used to force the biogas to be discharged.
6. During the experiment, a graph of days and temperature can be drawn.
7. After the experiment is completed, the valve at the bottom of the box is opened and the amount of leakage is recorded.
