1. Experimental purpose and principle:
Natural water sources of surface water and groundwater sometimes cont*n a cert*n amount of iron and manganese, which not only affects the growth of cert*n industries, but also is detrimental to people's lives. Therefore, the "Regulations for Drinking Water" stipulates that the total iron content should not exceed 0.3 mg/L. When it exceeds the above regulations or there are special requirements for the iron and manganese content in cert*n industrial enterprises, measures should be taken to remove them.
There are several treatment methods:
1. Aeration method;
2. Lime alkalization method;
3. Coagulation method;
4. Manganese sand filtration method (this device adopts manganese sand filtration method).
