1. Principle, purpose and characteristics:
The dust treated by the dust removal system has a cert*n particle size distribution. The degree of harm to human health and the applicable dust removal mechanism are different for different dust dispersions. The determination of dust particle size distribution can provide basic data for the design, selection and research of dust removal mechanism of dust collectors. The determination methods of dust particle size distribution include Bako centrifugal classification determination method, liquid gravity sedimentation method (pipette method) and inertial impact method. This device system is liquid gravity sedimentation method (pipette method).
Liquid gravity sedimentation method is based on the principle that particles of different sizes have different sedimentation speeds in liquid under the action of gravity. The speed of particles when they are naturally settled at a constant speed in a liquid (or gas) medium is called sedimentation velocity, and its size can be expressed by Stokes formula.
