1. Principle:
Gravity settling chamber is one of the oldest and simplest dust removal devices. The principle is that when the dust-laden gas enters the empty chamber, the dust particles are naturally settled by their own gravity, thus separating from the *rflow. The m*n advantages of this dust removal device are simple structure, low price, low energy consumption, and it is suitable for purifying dust with high density and coarse particle size. For dust of 30~50μm, the removal efficiency can reach 60%~80%, but for dust less than 5μm, the purification efficiency is almost zero. At present, it can only be used as a pretreatment device for high-efficiency dust collectors. This experimental system is m*nly used to demonstrate the principle of gravity settling process.
