1. Scope of application:
The pool has a simple structure and is suitable for sedimentation and concentration of coal sludge water in coal mines. The structure is that a partition is set in the middle of the pool, which is divided into two parts. One side enters the coal sludge water, and the other side overflows the clarified water. The coal particles and mud residue are precipitated at the bottom of the pyramid, and then the sediment is discharged from the sludge discharge pipe. It is best to connect the sludge discharge pipe with a tap water clean water pipe with a pressure of 0.3~0.4MPα, which can smoothly discharge the concentrate when blocked.
2. Experimental principle
The water cont*ned in the sludge can be roughly divided into four categories: interstitial water between particles, accounting for about 70% of the sludge water; capillary water, capillary water between sludge particles, accounting for about 20%; adsorbed water of particles and water inside particles, accounting for about 10%.
The opposite of concentration and dehydration is the interstitial water between particles. Concentration is the first process to reduce the volume of sludge. This method is simple and easy and does not require a lot of energy. The purpose of concentration is to reduce the volume of sludge, reduce the volume of subsequent treatment structures and operating costs: if anaerobic digestion is carried out, the effective volume of the digester can be reduced, and the cost of heating and insulation can be reduced; in addition, gravity concentration achieves a "buffer" effect between water treatment and sludge treatment. If mechanical dehydration is carried out, the amount of coagulant added and the number of dehydration equipment can be reduced. Since the water content of residual activated sludge is very high (more than 99%), it should generally be concentrated.
There are three m*n methods of concentration, namely gravity concentration, flotation concentration and centrifugal concentration.
