1. Experimental purpose:
The intermittent activated sludge treatment system is also called the sequencing batch activated sludge treatment system, referred to as SBR process (Sequencing Batch Reactor) in English. The most important feature of this process is that it integrates the degradation of organic pollutants and the precipitation of mixed liquor. Compared with the connected activated sludge method, the process composition is simple, no sludge return equipment is required, and no secondary sedimentation tank is set. Under normal circumstances, sludge swelling does not occur. Denitrification and phosphorus removal reactions can be carried out in a single aeration tank. It is easy to automatically control and the treated water quality is good. This device is a teaching demonstration and dynamic experimental equipment for the SBR process.
