1. Experimental principle and purpose:
The m*n characteristics of high-concentration organic industrial wastewater are: high pollutant concentration, COD can reach tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of mg/L; complex composition, often cont*ning toxic and harmful organic substances and heavy metals; low B/C, not easy to biodegrade; high water temperature, etc.
This experiment uses the "*r flotation" + "micro-electrolysis" + "UASB" treatment process to treat high-concentration industrial wastewater to make it meet the discharge standards.
Micro-electrolysis:
Micro-electrolysis technology, also known as internal electrolysis, iron reduction, iron-carbon method, zero-valent iron method, iron filings filtration method, etc., is a wastewater treatment technology that has been widely studied and applied. It m*nly achieves the ch*n breaking of macromolecular organic matter, removes various particulate metal ions in wastewater, promotes the adsorption and condensation of pollutants, and improves the biodegradability of wastewater through (1) redox reaction (2) galvanic cell reaction (3) electrochemical enrichment (4) physical adsorption (5) coagulation and precipitation of iron ions.
UASB: Upflow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) reactor is the m*n anaerobic process for treating high-concentration refractory wastewater. The wastewater to be treated is introduced into the bottom of the UASB reactor and flows upward through the sludge bed composed of flocculent or granular sludge. As the sewage and sludge come into contact, anaerobic reactions occur, producing biogas (m*nly methane and carbon dioxide) and causing disturbances in the sludge bed. Among the gases produced by the sludge bed, a part is attached to the sludge particles, and the free bubbles and bubbles attached to the sludge particles rise to the top of the reactor and hit the bottom of the degassing baffle, which causes the attached bubbles to be released and the degassed sludge particles to settle back to the surface of the sludge layer. The free gas and the gas released from the sludge particles are collected in the gas collecting chamber at the top of the reactor. Some rem*ning solids and biological particles cont*ned in the liquid enter the sedimentation chamber, and the rem*ning solids and biological particles are separated from the liquid and fall back to the top of the sludge layer through the reflector.
Through this experiment, we hope to achieve the following goals:
1. Master the general process of high-concentration industrial wastewater treatment;
2. Deepen the understanding of the principles of this experiment;
3. Understand the process flow and technical parameters of this experiment, and improve students' theoretical and practical knowledge.
