1. Experimental purpose:

Ozone is a strong oxidant. Its oxidation ability is second only to fluorine in natural elements. Ozone can be used in water treatment for deodorization, sterilization, decolorization, iron removal, cyanide, and organic matter. This device is a demonstration experiment that uses ozone off -color discoloration. Through the hope of this experiment, the following goals are achieved:

1. By regulating different concentrations of ozone to determine its reaction time and effect.

2. Understand the oxygen decolorization through the direct observation of organic glass.

Second, the working principle of experimental device:

Ozone has a significant effect on discoloration, sterilization, and deodorization. The columns such as phenols and ozone react, and they are first oxidized into phthalate, and then phenylphenols continue to oxidize into neighboring. If there is enough ozone during the processing process, the oxidation reaction continues. In the reaction, only a small amount of phenol can be completely oxidized to carbon dioxide and water. This experimental device is only performed by ozone discoloration experiments. Ozone is gradually absorbed and decomposed as an oxidant as an oxidant. Placing polylene pheed balls in the reaction column can increase the contact area of the ozone and achieve a better discoloration effect.
